Mondays in England
October 6th
My Mondays in England go a little something like this:
Wake up for 12PM class. Break from 1:30-3PM, eat lunch. Class 3-4:30PM. Supper @ 5:30PM. Do books/relax/shower/etc. Talk to the bf 9P-11:30P or something like that.
BORING STUFF. Although, today was jam packed with assignments and readings. Oh wait…. still boring
Thursday is LONDON day though, so should be fun! And Monday (Oct 13TH) until Friday (Oct 18TH) is Austria & Slovakia! I’m super pumped! I’m booking my hostel for Austria tomorrow
I haven’t been eating a whole lot lately (well, compared to back home). No sugary sodas, take out etc. Okay okay, I have those things sometimes. But not as nearly as much! I’m constantly eating special K cereal w/raisins and fresh strawberries + orange juice though! And Cheese- I’ve been eating a little bit everyday for snacks. I don’t know why though… maybe because most of the food here sucks? Probably. Maybe i’ll lose some weight off of my cereal & orange juice diet, hahahaha. Then I won’t need diet pills! Har har, joking. I’ll probably gain some.. with my luck anyway!

Homesickness.
October 5th
Yeah thats right, its that time of the week…. Homesickness time. Sigh. It started with a dream of being back home last night. And obviously, thats not the case so waking up this morning was disappointing. All afternoon & evening, while working on some school work, I couldn’t keep my thoughts straight. I was talking to the bf, via msn, for a wee bit (15 minutes maybe?) and I just got so so SO moody at him. It’s not his fault, it’s mine. It’s just so hard to keep my thoughts and emotions in track right now. I tried taking a nap earlier, but it was basically an hour of tossing and turning until I just got up and got a shower then a late supper. And now, here I am.
I’m going to make one more attempt at finishing an assignment for Political Science 4390 though. Well, after I get some more orange juice w/”juicy bits” (Pulp! It’s called Juicy bits over here, hehehe). Hopefully tomorrow will be much better
May as well as to pick up some acne treatment with this homesickness. Homesickness = Slack/behind with assignments = Stressed out Leanne = Acne! Uggggh.

Silly Republicans.

Palin makes Obama terrorist claim
“What’s clear is that John McCain and Sarah Palin would rather spend their time tearing down Barack Obama than laying out a plan to build up our economy” - Hari Sevugan
*Rolls eyes* Didn’t surprise me though. OMGZ his middle name is Hussein! ANTI-AMERICAN! TERRORIST! ….Better get your shot guns out
Know what I love about today? …It’s raining. I absolutely LOVE rain! So being in England is like heaven for me when it comes to the weather. Yeah, it’s kinda chilly.. but it’s like that at home so i’m use to it. Off topic, but does anyone need a new table lamp? Hehe. I know that I don’t need one.. My dorm is full of little lamps and such!

Splurging :X
October 4th
So I bought the following in London yesterday,

+ Lancome Juicy Tubes in Vanilla Soul, some gloves & two headbands. I wasn’t planning on spending that much, but guess I’ll limit myself this week. I just paid for my train to Paris, France on Nov 27TH-Dec 1ST
However, by this rate, I won’t have any money to stay there! Haha. Wow, bad Leanne!
I really wish they had some espresso machines around here (I’m staying in this wee little town in England, where everything closes at 10P).. I’ve been dying for a French Vanilla Capp! Anyway, happy Saturday everyone!

Just touched down in London Town…
October 3rd
Or well, I will be.
Although it’s going to be raining pretty much all day in London, I’m getting on that train and hitting up Oxford Circus again! More specifically, MAC
I’m not really sure what else i’ll be up to, but I swear, I can live my whole entire life on Oxford Circus! Well, if I had an endless supply of $$ that is, hehe.
So erm, the US VP debates were on last night and the Canadian debates are ongoing (*Gasp* Yeah, there’s a Federal election in Canada too! LOL). But honestly, i’m not even paying attention. Why? I’m too concerned with tracking down every article about Russia (The Russia-Georgia conflict & it’s relationship with Hugo Chavez). I mean, am I the only one amazed (although, not surprised) at Russia as of lately? With the US economy in shambles (+ the two wars in Iraq & Afghanistan), the UK and it’s own financial crisis, and the EU unable to do anything and the fact that the EU is so dependent on Russian oil… The Russians can pretty much do whatever they want to do. Whose going to stop them? The Americans? Not right now they’re not.. With the two wars and it’s economy in crisis, no way. The EU? Nope. They’re too dependent on the oil and sadly, is too divided to decide on something. Re-emergence of the Cold War? Maybe. Well, I kinda think so anyway… but it’s probably too early to tell.
Haha, the bf was looking at diamond rings apparently….. I mean, cool, I wouldn’t mind having some bling bling
Eek, gotta run though… London time!
