I totally forgot to “pop in” yesterday to wish everyone a Happy Canada Day! I hope everyone enjoyed the day Mine was pretty laid back and uneventful (well, other than my cat running out of the house and bringing back a little “surprise” for me. Ugh). I did, however, see some amazing fireworks! Once my camera batteries are fully charged, I’ll upload the pictures to my flickr. And oh, new theme! Yeah, I needed something that wasn’t dark in colour; I need something that looks refreshing.

I had the day off work today. Actually, I had a few days off work this week. The reason being, my boss at my f/t job is on holidays. She decided to let me take a few days off as well. I don’t mind though. I enjoy lazying around Lately, one of my favourite things to do while off work (or on lunch break/in the evenings etc.) is to write up a list of items I will need for my new place on the 15TH. So far, the list consists of window blinds, a mirror, picture frames, mattress & boxspring, bed frame, bedding, and some other things (groceries, cat litter, cat food etc.). Sadly, I have a $300 payment to make to the university before the 20TH, so I may not get the new bedding until a little later on (unless I find something real cheap!). I’m trying my best to use coupons too; it didn’t help when my mother threw out all of my coupons that I had organized though (mmhm, I freaked!). But luckily, I found some coupons that were not yet cut out or organized in a drawer in my bedroom So right now, I only have a little collection of coupons, mainly health/beauty related ones. I already organized the ones that I know i’ll need (shaving gel, bodywash etc.), which expires on the 20TH. I threw the other ones (like baby related and Colonix coupons) away.

EEEE! I’m getting super giddy just thinking about moving out! Finally, I won’t have to have an awkward and complicated living situation; I can shower, eat, sleep, and get ready for work all at one place! EXCELLENT. I cannot wait for the de-cluttering of my life to start.

Yesssss! It’s official! July 15TH I will be packing up my things and moving into a new place that is 10 minutes away from university My roommate (the one I mentioned in my previous post) finally got in touch with me a few days ago. So after I got off work yesterday, I ended up stopping by the apartment to check it out. It’s a very small and fairly old apartment. BUT, it’s super close to everything, she seems like a great person, and she has the place done up fairly nice I’m so sad that my bedroom there is sooo small but it’s better than living in the middle of nowhere (aka, my parents place). I was also lucky to find a mattress and boxspring online for only $100! Yes, it’s used and nothing special like a sleep number bed. But it’s fairly new and in amaaazing condition. I’m going to do my best to clean it anyway then put a mattress cover over it. I ended up buying two frames, a memory board and a mirror at Wal-mart too. I’m going to hang those things in my new room

(See more pictures of the things I bought) I don’t think I will be taking the desk that I got last week (for FREE!). It’s a fairly big desk and the bedroom is really tiny. So I’m thinking about just putting my bed in there, a small corner shelf (I seen a nice one at Wal-mart for $40) and maybe a small shelf or dresser- depending on how much space is left. I also need new bedding, a bed frame, and curtains. Thank God I got a second job right BTW, the second job at Subway is going well. This week, I’m working 24 hours there. And 35 hours at my other job. But you know, after I’m moved in and settled away, I won’t need to work so many hours. I just need to right now so I can afford to move!Finally, things are coming into place quite well. I feel much happier!

I’m so exhausted right now. I’m not sure if the apartment I was initially looking at is still available (the girl isn’t emailing me back and I don’t have her phone number right now, ugh). I checked out some places last night and tonight but still, no real luck. There was this one place (sooo nice!) but the landlord was being a real asshole towards me and wouldn’t let me move in on July 15TH. Whatevs.

But something will work out, it has to right? But right now, I need to go to bed! Early rise tomorrow! I have to hand in my bank info for job#2 before job#1 begins at 9 :S Thank God tomorrow is Friday!!!!
