My flight from Dublin, Ireland arrived in England around 6PM on Saturday. OMG, it was freeeeezing! -2 freezing! But it felt way colder because I only had a sweater on and my scarf and gloves were buried in my backpack of junk
Dublin was a nice city… I mean, I didn’t really get to see much. Just the city. So lights, traffic, drunk people… yanno, the usual. However, there was an incident were a man was hanging off a bridge about to commit suicide. Of course it was taped off, people were huddling around the scene, police were everywhere etc. Apparently he got down after… which relieved me a bit. I’m not use to seeing these things were i’m from, so, yeah… my mind was racing. On a much lighter note, I think every traveler should invest in a handy thermos! I’ve traveled many expensive AND cold cities now… not to mention, when I had a nasty cold a few weeks ago, I asked for a cup of hot water on the plane to mix my neocitran in… and they told me it would cost 2.50 POUNDS… WTF? For hot water? — GAH. But anyway, every traveler should have a thermos. Because then, if it’s an expensive city, you can always buy some soup and eat it while traveling. If you’re sick, you’ll have a place to stir your neocitran & water in (haha) and of course, if you’re cold.. Well, soup or hot tea would be wonderful
Sadly, my traveling is pretty much over. Other than a few day trips into London, i’m not going anywhere. I have 15 days left til my flight back to Canada, so i’m going to be busy with finishing up assignments/exams and such!
And oh, random, but I think everyone should receive a pocket sized Vaseline lip therapy in their stockings this year! Hehe, I was never big on Vaseline (I don’t know, I just didn’t realize how amazing it was?) but omgosssh… it does WONDERS for your lips! I’m sure everybody knows this already. I think I was the only one who didn’t know! But anyway, it leaves your lips feeling so nice and smooth! Plus, it’s super shiny so I just use it as a lip gloss, haha. But seriously though, I think this is a cute stocking stuffer. Especially because it’s the winter and no body likes chapped lips due to the wind and shit
I know that my boyfriend is totally getting some in his stocking!
Haha, does anyone need any snowmobile parts this winter? I really don’t want to jinx it, but i’m happy that St. John’s (my city back home) hasn’t been hit by snow yet.

I’ve never used Vaseline for much… I don’t care for it, but I didn’t know they had vaseline lip therapy stuff, i may have to try it out =) I usually just use Carmex.
I was gonna let you know that my site shouldn’t have had a gray solid bg on the page, it had a repeating bg img, which was a light gray grungy design I made a edit about it on my page, let me know if you see the change. =) I plugged ya for pointing it out =)
