I’m Leanne, a twenty one year old university student from Newfoundland, Canada. I’m currently in my fourth year, studying Political Science & History. I plan on attending law school sometime in the (near or perhaps distant) future. I’m also in a long-term relationship with my booger face, Shane. I spend most of my days with him, just relaxing in the hot tub, watching tv/movies and being goof balls. I consider myself easy going, goofy/weird and definitely stubborn. To sum this up, I have a rather boring life. It’s like “school, work, boyfriend”. Once in a while i’ll get snazzed up and hit up the clubs downtown with friends. But other than that, i’m quite average. Although, I plan on spicing the good ole life up in September by traveling to Europe to study posci until December.

I’ve previously owned a cam/blog site, infernogirl.net. The longest relationship i’ve been in was nearly four years, although I broke it off just before Christmas of 2006. I have an adorable gray little cat (yet his mentality is questionable), his name is Rasputin. I’m heavily involved with Amnesty International at my University. Most people find politics boring, but I find it interesting. My research interests within my field include Soviet/Russian politics, Political Parties, International relations, foreign policy and human rights. I find most of Europe & Asia fascinating, especially Russia, Italy, India and Pakistan. Technically, I live with my parents, however I stay at my boyfriend’s place most of the time. I rarely watch TV, but I do find time to watch my favourites: The Hills and Family Guy. I love to shop, and i’m quite materialistic. I’m constantly reading books, usually about politics, history or war. My favourite foods include fettuccine alfredo, spinach dip and chinese. And oh, my favourite colour is blue!

So can you stay until we close our eyes, til your dreams hold mine. Just stay until we know we tried one more time. As mentioned above, i’m currently in a long term relationship with my boyfriend, Shane. We started dating in March of 2007, and decided to make it offical on June 1ST, 2007. This has been the trickiest and hardest relationship I’ve ever been in. Previous to this relationship, I was with someone for almost four years. Trust wasn’t an issue and we lived together for almost two years. Stepping out of that relationship, and facing a new one that would cause so much heart ache was unexpected for me. I view my current relationship in three phases. Phase one includes the dating, getting to know each other, hanging out with each other during the summer and exchanging the “I love you’s” in August. The next day marks the second phase. It was the day I found out he cheated on me in April (although we we’re official, we were still steady dating, making it clear.. NO ONE ELSE) and even through out the summer. That right there, crushed and broke me. I never experienced anything like this before. The months that followed were hard/tricky/horrible. I didn’t trust him, the relationship was falling apart (non-existent actually) etc. Things happened, but somehow, it started to turn around. Phase three: Transformation. This is where we both started to try really hard to keep the relationship alive, to fix our mistakes; to change. While it really wasn’t working in “phase two” (because all I felt was anger inside), it started to work in Phase three. This relationship has taught me a lot. That people can be deceiving, that people have to earn your trust.. and most importantly, when it seems like all is failing, there is always that slight change of succeeding. Currently, we’re still in phase three. We have our ups and downs, but we’re moving along. I stay at his house basically every night, we have more time to relax with each other, we talk more, spend many mornings together and we cook for each other. Although full trust is yet to be accomplished, things are slowly getting better.

So, i'm Leanne. I'm a 21 year old university student, born & raised on the east coast of Canada. I'm currently finishing up my bachelors degree in Political Science & History, crossing my fingers for law school in the near future. At the moment, I'm in a long term relationship with my love bug, Shane. To briefly sum myself up, I'm a: politics junkie, sister, girlfriend, organizing/planning freak, vodka consumer & a MAC addict. ...More?
