My parents made a recent trip to Florida for my dads birthday. I wasn’t expecting any “goodies” from their trip (i’m pretty sure my trip to Europe is enough!), but they ended up bringing me back some stuff anyway. Haha, you wanna know what they got me? Jimmy Carter’s book, Palestine: Peace not Apartheid! And they also got me a Barack Obama tshirt! You know your daughter is a political science major when… rofl. But i’m super stoked about my Jimmy Carter book (who I absolutely love!), I can’t wait to read it over Christmas break! Another book i’m getting for Christmas is LSAT for Dummies, lol. I’m planning on doing the law exam in February and although I already have two prep books, i’m sure another won’t hurt
Honestly, i’m beyond nervous. I finish up this semester in the first week of December but I have so many things to do when I go back to Canada:
1. Visit my university, declare a double major (I’ve decided to declare a double major in Posc and History), get permission to do six courses instead of five.
2. Buy Christmas gifts
3. Visit family & friends I haven’t seen since September
4. Email the Association for New Canadians and let them know i’m back in the country so I can restart my volunteer work
5. Set up an appointment with Public Legal Information of NL to see if I can score a volunteer position with them!
6. Register for the LSAT and study every single day until the day of the exam!
Oh man, just thinking about it all seems a little bit crazy! And just because I love stressing myself out even more, I have a huge paper due this Friday, one due Monday, another due on the 10TH, I need to start working on my POSC 4390 paper and i’m flying out to Scotland this Monday (until Wednesday), Ireland on the 11TH (to the 14TH) and Dublin on the 19TH (to the 21ST). And um, Paris on Nov 27TH I think. Shit, I should probably get crackin’ on my books….

So, i'm Leanne. I'm a 21 year old university student, born & raised on the east coast of Canada. I'm currently finishing up my bachelors degree in Political Science & History, crossing my fingers for law school in the near future. At the moment, I'm in a long term relationship with my love bug, Shane. To briefly sum myself up, I'm a: politics junkie, sister, girlfriend, organizing/planning freak, vodka consumer & a MAC addict.
